Today’s idiom: “To get cold feet”

Have you ever felt unsure about something that you wanted to do? Did you want to change your plans? Then you have experienced “cold feet”.

“To get cold feet” means to be unsure or nervous about something that you have planned, to the point of wanting to abandon it. Have you seen the film “Runaway Bride”, with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere? Well, she had seriously cold feet!
