Hägar’s expression of the day: “look on the bright side”

When you’re in a bad situation, it’s usually a good thing to look for something positive in that situation. We call this “looking on the bright side”. In this metaphor, the negative part of the situation is the “dark side”, and the positive part is the “bright side” – even if it is just imaginary.

In reality, we often use the expression in a sarcastic or joking way.
