Today’s idioms: “it’s a piece of cake” / “it’s as easy as pie”

Did you “hit the books” before your exam? (see our earlier post)

If you did, then the exam was probably “a piece of cake”. In fact, it was probably “as easy as pie”.

These common expressions mean, very simply, that something is very easy.
